Spherical Roller Bearing Information:
1. Roller bearings use rolling elements to maintain the separation
between moving parts to reduce rotational friction and support
radial and axial loads.
These elements can be one of the following types: ball,
cylindrical, spherical, barrel, needle, spindle, or tapered.
2. All roller bearings are open, shielded, or sealed.
3. Sealed bearings are lubricated with oil or grease in the bearing
factory, while open and shielded bearings are meant to be
lubricated in place, with periodic reapplication of lubrication,
based on use.
4. The shield protects the working parts of the bearing from
environmental debris that may be introduced and could reduce the
ball bearing speed and lifespan.
According to the size of the rolling bearing, the bearing is
divided into:
(1) Miniature bearings----bearings with a nominal outside diameter
range of 26mm or less;
(2) Small bearings—bearings with a nominal outer diameter range of
28-55 mm;
(3) Small and medium-sized bearings—bearings with nominal outer
diameters ranging from 60 to 115 mm;
(4) Medium and large-sized bearings—bearings with nominal outer
diameters ranging from 120 to 190 mm;
(5) Large bearings—bearings with nominal outer diameters ranging
from 200 to 430 mm;
(6) Extra-large bearings——---bearings with a nominal outer diameter
range of 440mm or more.
